In an open-label trial compared with furosemide, there was a significant decrease in readmissions for heart failure and CV causes, ARR 15% for both, NNT 6.7, p = <0.01 / 0.03 respectively. There was a non-significant reduction in death from all causes. (re: Murray MD. AMJ 2001; 111; 513)
